Insta-Brunch


Brunch is by far our most Instagram-ed meal of the day at Lula, but the star dishes change from week to week. Right now, our "Jibarito Benedict" isn't interested in sharing the spotlight with any other dishes! 

And just because you can't make it in on the weekend doesn't mean you can't get a fork-full of poached eggs, smashed plantains, chorizo, and hollandaise —  we serve brunch every day of the week (except Tuesdays, of course), from 9am-2:30pm.

The Swell / Set 4


Art cooperative ‘The Swell’ comes to Lula Cafe tomorrow evening, February 20th, at 10pm, with readings and performances by Andre Price, Claire Arctander, Colleen O’Connor, and Kristin Lueke!

Spend Valentine’s Day with the one you love!


On February 14th, celebrate with a feast fit for Saint Valentine! We’re serving five of the most romantic courses around:

Sunchoke and Almond Soup
absinthe, fennel, burrata, strawberry


Angel Hair
uni, young garlic, vanilla, hearts of palm


Suckling Pig
crisp brussels sprouts, tangerine, black olive, mint


"Le Chateaubriand as Le Chateaubriand"
roast sirloin for two, with accompaniments


Baked Alaska
passionfruit and milk chocolate

The cost is $75 per person (excluding tax and gratuity), and reservations available by calling 773.489.9554, or via OpenTable. We’ll also have walk-up availability at the bar that evening. Our regular menu will return Saturday morning, February 15th, at 9am.
